Set in beautiful countryside with valley views, this property gives you the best of both worlds. Watch red kites soar overhead and even spot the occasional steam train puffing through the landscape. The large enclosed garden is brilliant for kids and dogs to run wild without escaping.

The accommodation includes six varied bedrooms: a ground floor small double with ensuite, a double with ensuite shower and TV, a king-size with additional single bed and ensuite, a king-size with two extra singles and TV, a single room and another double with TV. The farmhouse features a stone fireplace with open fire, a well-equipped kitchen with period Welsh dresser and a games room with pool table, table football and piano.

We were a group of 14 girls and really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect, just a few minutes from Aberystwyth town. The house was stunning and everyone kept telling me how lovely it was. Definitely recommend!

The cottage was gorgeous, especially loved the hot tub and the stunning views of the steam train and red kites flying around. Beds were super comfy and the warm showers were a nice touch. We did mention a few issues to the owners, but it didn't spoil our stay at all.

The garden is just idyllic—we could have easily stayed on the property all week. The swim tub, games roomand outdoor games were all a hit. It could definitely do with a deep clean and some updating though. We had 8 adults and 2 children in our groupand honestly, any more would have felt cramped. But it's fine if you're not planning to stay in too much. The games room is a useful addition. Plus, it's well situated for exploring a wide area of beautiful scenery.

There's plenty of space, so you don't feel overwhelmed even when there's a large group. We'd definitely recommend this for families or larger groups. We really loved our time there and are looking into if we can return.

What an excellent property! We had a great week with lots to do. It's just 10 minutes from the nearest supermarkets and 20 minutes from the promenade. The butterfly house is only 10 minutes away too. We ended up staying at the property for 3 days because of a heatwave. There was so much room and plenty of activities. The hot tub was definitely a hit with everyone. Our group was 7 adults ranging from their 30s to 70s, plus 3 kids from 2 to 10. The beds were comfyand it was easy to find. We would happily stay there again!

After three years of waiting, we finally got to enjoy our 40th family holiday (thanks to covid!!). The house has so much potential, but it really needs a good clean and a bit of a freshen up in some spots, especially the kitchen, which was a bit dirty when we arrived. On the plus side, the host was super quick to sort out our issues and was really helpful with everything we needed. Overall, we had a great timeand the kids absolutely loved the hot tub, games roomand garden the most!

The facilities and house were as described on the website. There was plenty of parking and the owner had added some festive decoration which were ideal for the kids. Access to Aberystwyth was simple and supermarkets were very accessible. The facilities were suitable for the children's age range from1 year to 15 years old. The WiFi was suitable for working and all teenagers.

This could be an absolute gem of a place but it looks so tired and is in desperate need of some TLC. As it stands, this property isn't good value for money by any stretch of the imagination. We've stayed in similarly priced houses that have been much better overall. The rooms are perfect for family get-togethers. The location is really goodand there's plenty to do even in November, plus the spa pool was definitely a big hit with the kids!
