And yes, the hot tub is bloody fantastic after a day of hiking – nothing beats bubbles under the stars with a glass of something strong!

The accommodation features a spacious ground floor with oak flooring throughout. There's a comfortable lounge with wood burner (first basket of logs included – they're not tight-arses here), a fully-equipped kitchen with everything you need and a ground floor twin bedroom with en-suite shower. Upstairs you'll find a large family bedroom with king-size bed and bunk beds for kids, plus another bathroom.

Explore New Quay beach (30 minutes drive) for coastal walks and dolphin spotting. Lampeter town is just a short drive away with shops including Sainsbury's. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is within day-trip distance (45 minutes) and Aberystwyth's Victorian seafront is 40 minutes north.
